An exciting programme of events is being planned, with the aim that every activity should be available to all age groups.
Currently we are looking at the headline activities, which will include:
- It’s a Knockout
- Dragon boating
- High Ropes
More details of the activities booked for H0018 Can be found here once the programme has been firmed up. The final list of activities will be dependent on the number of participants.
Prior to the event each Group & Section attending will receive a personalised timetable of the activities they are doing. This information will include when and where, plus anything they need to take with them.
The core programme has been designed to fill ~60% of your time on site (excluding evening entertainment).
The organising team are offering the opportunity to visit a number of local attractions in your free time, including:
- Brownsea Island
- Bovington Tank Museum
- Monkey World
Note: these trips are not included in the cost of the camp but can be coordinated for you centrally. Hikes & other trips are possible although they will need to be self-organised.
This will include both section specific and more general options, some of which will be at the discretion of the leaders.
“A Monster’s Day out!” Programme – The day will consist of activities and a monster’s parade.
Beavers are invited to the “A Monster’s Day out!”, taking part in the activities such as Dragon Boating & the monsters parade. Beavers can also camp the night before, when there will be a Camp Fire for the whole camp.
If anyone has an idea or a contact for an exciting activity that can be enjoyed by all ages and by a large number of participants, please let the organisers know; we have lots of ideas already but are always open to suggestions.
